The most important thing is to get beginner students playing and to have some fun.
I teach guitar (electric or acoustic), bass, keyboard, drums and ukulele.
First we focus on what inspires you, and then later we can introduce the theory of chords, key and time signatures, melody, rhythm and more.
I put an emphasis on exploring styles and techniques as well as building up your practical skill level to the standard of the Trinity, ABRSM and Rock School syllabus.
Intermediate Onwards
I also teach intermediate and advanced levels. If you need to brush up before a high grade exam, we can efficiently and effectively get you on track with your pieces.
If you're tentatively getting back into music after a few years out, that's absolutely fine too!
Other skills and services I provide include; composition classes, recording and production classes, and introduction to synthesising. I can also provide audio recordings of your lessons, for your future reference.
Online Lessons & Pricing
Thanks to Zoom we can easily book lessons that work for everybody's schedule!
My basic rates are £18 for 30 min or £32 for 60 min. These prices may vary, depending on your locality. Feel free to contact me for further details.
Group Lessons (3 persons +) - If you are interested in booking a group lesson, the price per student is £8.50. Travel costs can still apply.
PLEASE NOTE: I have a have a 24 hour lesson cancellation policy; if you need to cancel after this period, the lesson will be charged at the full rate.
